Recently, a member was visiting the range with a guest when the guest completed a serious rules Violation. The guest performed a Rapid fire magazine dump (20 to 30 round mag). It was heard by several members of the community and reported to the board of directors.
Members are responsible for the safety and actions of their guests. The board takes safety and range rules seriously has suspended the membership of the member responsible. That member and the guest may no longer access any range for an undetermined amount of time. Additional training may be required for the board to consider reinstatement or the suspension may be permanent.
It may be a good time to review the club rules and review the orientation video. Take time whenever you visit the range to review the signs that are posted. It is crucial for the safety of our members and the continued operation of the club.
